SpoOoOoky Paws Parade

The third annual Spooky Paws Parade was this past Sunday and Baron had a BRIGHT IDEA for his costume (ok, ok actually my friend Amy suggested it...) - A LAMP! Since he's been stuck in the 'Cone of Shame' for the past two weeks after his lumpectomy and it does remarkably resemble a lamp shade, that's what we went for.

Amy brought along Rue in her bright pink fairy wings. She was a gorgeous (and mostly perfect...) angel!

We walked with a group from the Animal Rescue League of Iowa (ARL) and there were many outstanding costumes displayed by the various canines. Here are a few of our favorites:

Dawg-A-Saur (aka Cash Roth)

How could you not love that face? Check out Cash's Facebook Page.

Scooby Doo with Shaggy and Velma

The Basset Herd

Baron and Rue had a great time at the parade. Although, they weren't very fond of their costumes, they put up wtih them very well.

Between mischievous antics, vet runs, food runs, and mountains of exercise (not to mention laundry!) I somehow, someway manage to find a life. Granted it revolves around these dogs - and why shouldn't it? They deserve it!

So here's the start to recording my version of life with 20 paws!
